Meet the recipients of the Access Asia Business Grants

Round 6 of the grant program awards 16 Western Australian businesses with funding to boost their export and trade activities in new Asian markets.

Under Round 6 of the Access Asia Business Grants, 16 local businesses have received funding to help advance their export and trade activities in new Asian markets.

The grant recipients will share in more than $325,000 (excluding GST) in grant funding, with each receiving up to a maximum of $30,000 (excluding GST). 

The funded projects include activities such as gathering in-market intelligence to capture new opportunities in target markets and developing new partnerships through specialist in-market support and services.

The 16 projects fall in all 8 priority sectors of the State’s economic development framework Diversify WA.

Since its inception in 2019, the grants program has awarded approximately $1.72 million (excluding GST) to 96 local small and medium enterprises and organisations.
