The 2024 Western Australian Export Award has seen over 100 applications narrowed down to make the 27 finalists for this year’s program.
Now in it's 36th year, the annual awards program celebrates the achievements of WA businesses and highlights the significant role they play in exporting home-grown innovation to the world. The 2024 program saw 48 companies apply across the awards' diverse categories that reflect the State's vibrant export landscape.
The finalists span across 13 award categories and showcase WA’s leadership in various sectors, including e-commerce, creative industries, agribusiness, food and beverage and sustainability and the green economy, as well as international health, education, and training.
Exports remain a major driver of Western Australia’s economic growth, underpinned by the important contribution of our local businesses. In the year to April 2024, Western Australia exported $255.3 billion of goods, accounting for 47% of Australia’s goods exports. Western Australian export businesses continue to adapt and develop international relationships to promote their goods and services to overseas markets.
The winners will be announced on Thursday 19 September at the Western Australian Export Awards 2024 Gala Dinner.
