This is a great opportunity to gain valuable support from talented students while contributing to their professional development.

The summer 2024 internship program runs from 11 November to 13 December, with students contributing approximately 100 hours (around 3 days a week) to assist with your projects.

The program matches UWA students with roles that align with their skills and interests, giving agencies access to expertise in areas such as IT, programming, data science, community engagement and administration.

By hosting a McCusker intern, your organisation:

  • gains fresh perspectives and innovative solutions from motivated students
  • has valuable support for time sensitive projects or tasks
  • plays a role in shaping the next generation of professionals by providing hands on experience.

Internships are a valuable way to bring new thinking into your agency and establish productive relationships with soon to be tertiary qualified people.

To secure the support of an intern for your next project, contact the McCusker Centre for Citizenship by Friday 25 October to submit your role. The team will help you design a role and match student interns with agencies.
