The 2024 round of the Market Access Grant Scheme (MAGS) is now open.
This program aims to assist local health and medical life sciences companies by subsidising travel costs to major industry conferences and business events in 2024.
Grants of up to $5,000 per business are available for eligible WA companies.
First launched in March 2023, the program has awarded funding to 20 local life sciences companies to date to engage with international investors, partners and potential customers at industry forums held interstate and overseas.
The grants assist eligible companies to advance their business and products, help facilitate the formation of new business relationships, and showcase local industry talent at these conferences and events, gaining greater reach into global markets and investment pools.
The travel grant scheme is funded through the State Government’s $8.65 million budget commitment to implementing the Health and Medical Life Sciences Industry Strategy, with a total of $100,000 committed to the second round of MAGS.
