The most recent recipients of the New Industries Fund's Innovation Booster Grant and Commercialisation Bridge Grant were announced this week at West Tech Fest.
The 12 local innovators will share $756,157 worth of funding which will support their businesses through different stages of development and expansion.
The latest recipients highlight the wide range of innovations occurring in WA, this includes a digital PCR for fast and reliable assessment of biologicals, an emotional support teddy bear with an app and a test to accurately measure antibacterial activity in honey.
Recipients came from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds including regional, youth and female founders from a range of sectors, demonstrating the growing diversity of WA's innovation community.
