The Clean Air Society of Australia and New Zealand (WA Branch) recognised Adrian for his outstanding work and significant contribution to advancing air quality modelling and improving the understanding of pollutant dispersion.
Ruth Dowd, Executive Director Assurance, said Adrian had played a notable role in moving towards the goal of improved air quality for more than 25 years.
"Adrian has worked in the fields of mesoscale meteorological modelling and air pollution, playing a significant role in major air quality studies in Perth and other priority airsheds in the state," Ruth said.
“This includes the promotion and application of scientifically sound means of air pollution assessment.”
Peter Taylor, A/Director Environmental Science, said Adrian’s outstanding contributions to air quality went above and beyond the normal course of duty, significantly improving an awareness of air quality in the environment.
