Local digital startups and tech innovators are showcasing their world-leading capabilities at West Tech Fest in Perth.
West Tech Fest, Australia’s longest running tech and innovation festival, is hosted by Curtin University.
The event runs until Friday 6 December, with the main conference, on Thursday 5 December, featuring sectors including Al, agtech, critical minerals, and life sciences.
The festival is supported by the WA Government, through its New Industries Fund, to strengthen the state’s growing technology and innovation sector, in line with WA's Innovation Strategy.
As part of this contribution, Invest and Trade Western Australia is hosting international delegates at the conference and networking sessions, to promote WA's digital technology sector, and encourage international investment, trade and partnership.
The WA Government's support for the festival reinforces a commitment to accelerate new and emerging businesses and support projects that build entrepreneurship, innovation and commercialisation.
This approach is designed to accelerate venture creation and economic diversification and support WA jobs.
