CSIRO Floreat site

Across 10ha with a range of building offerings, the site is set to transform into a global hub of biomedical manufacturing, research and health tech innovation, just 8km from the CBD and adjacent to a world Top 100 university precinct.

Located in Perth, the Australian gateway to Southeast Asia, and close to the QEII medical precinct and the University of Western Australia, this site offers a unique opportunity.  

Following the announcement of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with CSIRO and the University of Western Australia, the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation are seeking expressions of interest from WA biomedical industry companies on their future infrastructure requirements.

The CSIRO site in Floreat has potential to become a home for the growing biomedical industry by clustering companies and through access to the UWA/QEII precinct nearby.   

Open Day

An Open Day for interested biomedical companies to tour the site will be held on Thursday 12 December 2024, allowing interested companies see firsthand the opportunity for a new biomedical precinct.

There are 4 sessions times available. Each tour lasts 1 hour with a limit of 30 people per tour:

  • 10:00am
  • 12:00pm
  • 2:00pm
  • 4:00pm
