London Tech Week (LTW) is designed to showcase how tech is transforming business and society, and bring the tech ecosystem together to drive change.
The Western Australian Government, through Invest and Trade WA (ITWA), will support up to 10 WA technology startups to join a trade mission to the United Kingdom for LTW 2023, from 12 to 16 June.
WA tech startups ready to expand into European markets are likely to find it beneficial.
Companies will be selected through a competitive expression of interest (EOI) process. Candidates should explain how participating in London Tech Week will benefit your business.
The mission will assist WA companies to scale up and access the talent, funding and customers they need to grow. It will also raise awareness of Western Australian technology and solutions capabilities, to attract talent, businesses and investors to WA.
Successful companies will be provided with exclusive opportunities, including:
- A pre-mission briefing in Perth with presentations from key WA Government leaders, including ITWA.
- A welcome reception hosted by the Western Australian Government Office in London (WAGO).
- A business networking event with an opportunity to engage with delegates from other Australian jurisdictions.
- Workshops hosted by the UK’s Department of International Trade (DIT), including a regional session, and a session on the Global Entrepreneur Programme.
- A DIT workshop about the UK opportunity and free trade agreement outcomes for business.
- Networking evenings.
- Additional bespoke meetings with key London stakeholders facilitated by DIT.
- Business matching and venture capital support.
Travel, accommodation, insurance, meals and on-ground expenses are at the cost of the delegate.
If you are a tech startup interested in taking part, please complete the EOI form below by close of business on Wednesday 19 April 2023.
