The Western Australian (WA) Export Awards is managed by Invest and Trade Western Australia. Launched in 1988, the WA Export Awards is an annual program that celebrates the achievement of WA businesses exporting home-grown innovation to the world.
Last financial year, WA's exported merchandise valued $275.1 billion, accounting for 46% of Australia's total goods exports.
13 award categories are open for application, showcasing the State’s diverse range of exports.
WA exporters are encouraged to apply in one or more of these categories:
- Advanced Technologies
- Agribusiness, Food and Beverages
- Creative Industries
- e-Commerce
- Emerging Exporter
- International Education and Training
- International Health
- Manufacturing and Advanced Materials
- Resources and Energy
- Professional Services
- Regional Exporter
- Small Business
- Sustainability and Green Economy.
The WA Export Awards 2024 Gala Dinner will be held in September where winners will be announced along with the WA Exporter of the Year. Winners of each category will advance to the National awards in Canberra.
