Applications are now open for the 2025 round of the Market Access Grant Scheme (MAGS)!

MAGS provides funding support for Western Australian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) within the health and medical life sciences industry looking to advance their business development by attending national and international conferences and events.

Funding can be used to support associated costs with attending industry events in 2025 such as event registration, exhibitor space, airfares and accommodation, ground transportation, visas and travel insurance.

Successful recipients will receive funding support to cover 80% of total travel costs (excluding GST), up to a maximum of $5,000 per company.

The grant scheme is funded through the State Government’s $8.65 million budget commitment to implementing the Health and Medical Life Sciences Industry Strategy, with $100,000 allocated to the MAGS 2025 round.

First launched in 2023, MAGS is a key enabler for industry to make important businesses connections and investment opportunities at industry forums.

Since its inception, the program has awarded over $170,000 of funding to 39 local life sciences companies.
