As Australia’s premier oil, gas and energy trade event, AOG Energy 2023 will  drive opportunity, discussion and leadership in Australia’s oil, gas and clean energy sector. 

This year is the launch of an inaugural Aboriginal Capability Pavillion to showcase Western Australian Aboriginal-owned businesses in the billion dollar energy sector. A pre-event briefing session was held at the end of February for the 10 exhibitors to hear more about the opportunity to exhibit at AOG Energy 2023,  practice their elevator pitch and prepare for the event through sharing knowledge and past experiences.

Marlu Resources

Marlu Resources Group are a 100% Aboriginal owned company providing security and medical services across Perth and Pilbara regions. We provide reliable security services are an important aspect in any community from the city to the remote Pilbara regions. Marlu Health is a full occupational health facility providing quality pre-employment medicals as well as health and wellness management and injury prevention programmes.

Baldja

Baldja is a majority Indigenous owned incorporated joint venture between Resource Services Group X (RSGx), Wilco Electrical and Kardan Construction. This new partnership strengthens each company’s ability to offer top tier mechanical and electrical service to our customers, deliver larger and more complex projects, and provide opportunities for Indigenous Australians through employment opportunities, training and funding of meaningful indigenous programs and not for profits.

Bunbara

Bunbara is a proud Aboriginal and Female owned company providing three main products and services: PRODUCTS – Pipes, Fittings, Flanges, Valves, Stud bolts, Gaskets. PROCUREMENT – Supply Chain Solutions; Logistics and Strategic Purchasing. ENGINEERING - Specialist multidiscipline engineering services to support asset and project from inception to completion - design, evaluate, maintenance and procurement.

Blak Line Industries

Blak Line Industries is a majority owned Aboriginal business composed of seven different Traditional Owner families with beneficiaries belonging to the Palyku, Nyiyaparli, Banyjima, Kariyarra, Nyamal and Yuet peoples. Blak Line Industries provides design, signage & print services with a strong focus on supporting Aboriginal people in particular Aboriginal women and families. Working with us means you will benefit from precise lead time management and quality fabrication, as well as professional installation and ongoing maintenance. 

Kooya Fleet Solutions

Kooya is Australia’s first and largest Aboriginal owned and operated Fleet and Finance Company. HazRad

HazRad Australia provides in-situ, and ex-situ hazardous waste management, treatment services. HazRad operates a Department of Water, Environment & Regulation approved, Prescribed Premise located in Bibra Lake, WA. The facility is licensed to accept, treat and transfer controlled and scheduled waste streams, as well as being approved to store and process radioactive waste material. We provide responsive, sustainable waste management through technical expertise and innovation.

Our key focus area of work has been in Oil and Gas service team, trained and certified in the latest diagnostic, repair and maintenance and Resources, specialist recruitment and project teams for shutdowns, INLECS, Electricians, Mechanical Fitters, Boilermaker Welders, Pipe Fitters, Scaffolders/Ropes and support roles TA’s and spotters. We want to be at the forefront of the upcoming decommissioning opportunities for Aboriginal suppliers.
