6 regional rounds of the local capability fund are launched

6 regional rounds of the Local Capability Fund (LCF) will open for application at 12:00PM (AWST), Monday 6 May 2024.

These LCF rounds support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Western Australia with up to $20,000 of grant funding per successful applicant, with a total pool of $600,000 between the 6 rounds.

The Local Capability Fund is currently open to SMEs in the:

  • Wheatbelt
  • Mid-West
  • Goldfields-Esperance
  • Kimberley
  • Great Southern
  • and Gascoyne regions

Rounds for the South West, Kimberley and Peel were offered earlier in the financial year.

The funding will support the business's efforts to:

  • make improvements to internal infrastructure, plant and equipment
  • take part in training
  • meet pre-qualification requirements for supply-chain entry
  • buy and upgrade essential equipment
  • engage consultants to advise on a range of business and market issues including occupational health and safety, marketing, finance and cybersecurity
  • plan improvements to internal infrastructure, plant and equipment and training

Applications open 12:00PM (AWST), Monday 6 May 2024 and will close on 3 June 2024.
