West Tech Fest is WA's premier tech festival, providing opportunities for local start-ups and the tech community to engage with global leaders.
This year's festival will be held from 4 to 9 December 2022 at locations across Perth, Joondalup, Fremantle and Rottnest Island.
The festival will showcase inspiring local, national and international keynote speakers, and include networking events, pitching opportunities, mentoring sessions, hackathons and workshops.
Confirmed speakers for 2022 include co-founder of Angry Birds Peter Vesterbacka, venture capitalist Bill Tai, XTC founder Young Sohn and president and co-founder of Infinite Reality Rodric David.
Now in its eleventh year, West Tech Fest has built a strong global network and profile, and enabled many successful investment outcomes.
Hosted by Curtin University, the festival is supported by partners across academia, government and industry.
The Western Australian Government has contributed $500,000 through its $16.7 million New Industries Fund.
Innovation and ICT Minister Stephen Dawson said the festival was a platform for WA's 'fantastic start-ups and tech innovators' to showcase their solutions to a global audience.
It also provided the opportunity to be inspired by world class speakers and visitors.
