Cook Government media statement.

If your household or small business electricity account is with Synergy or Horizon Power, you do not need to do anything. Synergy and Horizon Power will apply the credit directly to eligible electricity accounts automatically over two payments of $200 being applied in late July 2024 and December 2024. Further information will be available on the Synergy and Horizon Power websites shortly.

Households and eligible small businesses that are billed for electricity by other providers, such as through an embedded network supply arrangement, will be able to apply for and receive a one-off $400 payment. The Department of Finance (RevenueWA) and Small Business Development Corporation are making the necessary arrangements for these payments and further information will be made available on their websites shortly regarding the application process.
