The Western Australian Government has made the decision to end native tree logging to preserve approximately 400,000 additional hectares of karri, jarrah and wandoo forests.

The Forest Management Plan 2024-33 is managed by Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) and will outline the future of forest management for Western Australia’s native forests.
