Chris McMahon was appointed as Commissioner of State Revenue in 2023 and is responsible for the daily operations of RevenueWA and for the performance of a range of statutory functions under the revenue laws the Commissioner administers.
Chris has extensive experience in strategic leadership in the public sector, with a strong focus on revenue administration and the effective delivery of government services. He has played a pivotal role in shaping revenue and grant laws. Chris has successfully overseen complex technical functions and transformation programs to introduce innovative solutions to streamline service delivery and provide accountable and transparent outcomes for Government and its customers.
